Acru’s offering connects acceptance, payment context, risk workflows, and eligible money movement. The implementation scope should identify which of those pieces your business will actually use.

The first review should identify the problem you want to solve and which existing systems need to stay. Do not assume a complete migration is necessary—or that every existing provider can connect without changes.

A business owner for the payment flow and someone familiar with the integration are useful. Bring finance or risk colleagues if settlement, reconciliation, disputes, or reserves are central to the decision.

Ask for a written implementation scope that identifies available capabilities, dependencies, and any planned work. Product direction is not a substitute for an agreed production deliverable.

Ask for a written scope naming the methods, markets, currencies, integrations, and responsibilities included in your program. Separate capabilities available at launch from planned work so the implementation and commercial terms match.

Agree on a test plan with the implementation team: successful and failed outcomes, pending states, retries, refunds, and reconciliation where relevant. Confirm which test environment and production checks apply to your setup; a simulated success is not proof that every live rail is enabled.
